Bath Racecourse on the outskirts of Royal Bath is a unique and stunning place in which to hold your wedding ceremony, and reception, there is an exquisite backdrop to provide the perfect setting to make your special day a memorable and enjoyable occasion for you and all your guests.

The  award winning caterers at Bath Racecouse can provide various menu options to suit all budgets, from simple finger buffets to lavish five-course banquets, and will liaise directly with you to satisfy your personal requirements.

Bath Racecourse are also able to offer overnight parking and can recommend accommodation within the area. Dance floors are available on request, and you may decorate the suite for your event. To assist with the preparations we are able to arrange a florist, DJ/band or other entertainment, to help ensure a stress-free run up to your big day.

From large parties to more intimate celebrations Bath Racecourse are able to offer the perfect suite to meet your requirements. Bath Racecourse is fully licensed for civil weddings and partnership ceremonies, and so  can accommodate you from ceremony, to wedding breakfast through to the reception.

By Road

Conveniently located two miles North of the city centre, Bath Racecourse is just six miles South of Junction 18 of the M4 Motorway and is well sign-posted from all major routes to its location on Lansdown Hill close to Royal Bath.

By Rail

You can reach Bath Racecourse from both the main London Paddington and South Wales lines. There are also regular connections from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham. Buses and taxis run from the station to the course (10-15 minutes ride).

Raceday bus service

There is a bus service provided by ‘First' bus company which runs at every race fixture. The number 22 bus departs 2 hours before the first race from Dorchester Street opposite the train station, followed by three further services to Bath Racecourse at ½ hour intervals.
The return service will depart immediately after the last race and an additional bus ½ an hour after the last race.
On Friday 4th June and Friday 30th July there will be an additional service running straight after the entertainment.

By Air

Helicopters may land at the course on a raceday, with prior permission from the racecourse, on 01225 424609.
